This includes overseeing the distribution of relief materials, arrangements for temporary shelter and relocation, health care and sanitation measures, and restoration of livestock and homes. Additional support includes legal awareness campaigns in relief camps, help with reconstructing lost documents, access to education for orphaned children, rehabilitation for elderly and disabled victims, assistance with debt relief, insurance claims, and psychological counseling.

    How To Apply

Victims or their families can seek assistance by directly contacting the Sikkim State Legal Services Authority in Gangtok or the respective District Legal Services Authorities in East, West, South, or North Sikkim. No formal paperwork is necessary—individuals may reach out via phone or in person at legal aid centers. These authorities then coordinate with relief and rehabilitation departments to ensure the victim receives the needed legal aid and support services.
